Keeping It Simple

Surprisingly my style this Spring has been very subdued. Besides gingham, I haven’t been dwelling into prints or bold colors. I craved colorful socks, stripes and sweaters all winter and now I’ve been feeling that blue jeans are my “pop of color”. Black, white, off-white, bege, that’s all I’ve been wearing. This black jumpsuit isn’t really new in my life or the blog but it’s one of those pieces I put one when I wanna feel good without loosing precious Sunday minutes picking an outfit. I wore it on a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon for drinks on the “Top of the Rock”. Forget about paying to see the views with tourists all over the place elbowing you. Go for the bar, have a drink and enjoy the same view (one floor down). When I first got out of the elevator I just instantly started to giggle, the view is like you’re punched in the stomach (but in a good way ahah). Let’s go back to the clothes. The trench coat is my baby right now and I’m having a hard time not wearing it everyday. It’s a classic design, slightly oversized and filled with special details like the tie on the sleeve or the belt. Finally the bag, you’ve heard about it before on this post but now that it has finally arrived I’m just confirming my love for these quirky summer bags.
