Who loves fashion and hasn’t dreamed about attending the biggest night in fashion, the Met Gala? The event is hosted at the Metropolitan Museum of Art In NY and it’s the annual fundraising gala for the MET’s Costume Institute that also celebrates the opening of its anual exhibition. Andrew Rossi, the director of the documentary “The First Monday in May”, decided to film and chronicle the events surrounding last year’s Gala – “China: Through The Looking Glass”, the most attended fashion exhibition in history. You get to see Anna Wintour, Vogue’s editor-in-chief and a chair of the event since 1995, and everybody else involved in the event, from guests to designers and performers. We all loved seeing the behind-the-scenes of Vogue’s “The September issue” and I bet this will be no different. I can’t wait to see it, meanwhile the date of the next Met Ball is aproaching ( May 2nd) and this year’s theme is “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology”, I hope I get to see it in person this year!
